This recipe for herbal popsicles is so good for kids. They can help you make them and start to learn how herbs are fun to use! They taste good and depending on which herbs you use, can be catered toward healing and soothing.
Ingredients
-2 tbsp dried, kid-friendly herbs for every 1 cup of hot water
-Equal amount juice or coconut milk
-Teaspoon of honey for every cup of liquid you use
Instructions
-Steep your dried herbs in hot water for 10-15 minutes to extract the flavor. Strain.
-Once cooled, add an equal amount of juice of your choice or coconut milk.
-Add a teaspoon of honey for every cup of liquid in your mixture.
-Pour into popsicle molds and freeze.
Example mixture: I might use 2 cups of hot water to infuse 4 tbsp of hibiscus. I’d then add 2 cups of juice (to match my water amount), then 4 teaspoons of honey since there are 4 total cups of liquid.

Lemongrass, elderberry, hibiscus, lemon balm, mint (there are fun varieties at plant nurseries like strawberry mojito), rose hips, chamomile
