While I believe there is a time and place for modern medication to treat anxiety, I also believe we can build a lifestyle that helps us manage it naturally! Sometimes we want natural anxiety relief because we don’t want to deal with side effects, other times we have a fear of medication or want to avoid a costly regimen. Causes of Anxiety

When you struggle with anxiety it can feel like an uphill battle. Our culture exposes us nearly 24/7 to heartache, violence, and bad news, and it misrepresents what is really happening in the world.

Social media has caused comparisons and a sense of missing out and our economy has made us feel like we can’t keep up.

Genetics, childhood trauma, the breakdown of family, and health issues can also contribute to our feelings of overwhelm.

It is important to know that anxiety often lies to us and makes us feel like we have no control over our symptoms. This isn’t true.

Many people have healed from anxiety and restored back to a functional, healthy mindset.

It is important to honor the circumstances or brain chemistry that led to anxious feelings, while also telling our brain that it is possible to overcome anxiety. This belief is vital to neuroplasticity, acceptance, and progress – otherwise we will get stuck in anxious cycles.

Tips and Tricks

I have had anxiety at different intensities for most of my adult life. It began in childhood but got a lot stronger when I was in my late teens and early 20’s. I’ve had panic attacks, obsessive thoughts, and feelings of avoidance. I know how uncomfortable and miserable it can make you and I know that feeling of helplessness when a panic attack strikes out of no where or you just want to break down and cry over the simplest mistake or bad news.

It has all of my tips & tricks on relieving anxiety naturally, quickly, and effectively. If you consistently practice the suggestions from the book, it will ease your symptoms almost immediately and over time, you’ll notice huge progress and feelings of relaxation.
