We live in central Kentucky on one acre in a neighborhood zoned for agriculture. This is one of only several neighborhoods in our city that gives us the freedom to have a backyard farm and gardens.
We waited for years to find this house, and began renovations in April 2022 when we moved in. She isn’t finished, but we feel blessed (and at times stressed) to be her caretakers.

We named the house Rose Stone Cottage because of her beautiful exterior of bedford stone, as well as the roses that grace her late 60’s iron shutters.
